第12回の今回は『再建宅の設計開始 ＆ ハラハラ・ドキドキのブログ立ち上げ Part:3』と題しまして、2025年4月、5月中の『てんやわんや』を中心にお話ししてみたいです。

＊遅れに遅れた瓦礫撤去、いよいよ開始

自分の趣味の世界を開陳する、
『雑記系』ブログを立ち上げる、
と妻に宣言したのが忘れもしない、2014年の4月でした。
早くも11年以上が経過してしまいました。
その間家内から、毎月のように催促されながら、
その都度、
＊まだネタが十分たまってないから、、、とか、
＊いまいち決心できない、、、とか、
＊年齢を重ねた後のほうがいいものが書けるから、、、、とか、
＊自分は遅咲きだから、、、とか
終いには、
訳のわからない言い訳を重ねに重ねた挙句、
あの、2025年1月7日を迎えました。
其の後の顛末は既に書いた通りですが、
建築家との契約も終えて一段落して、
5月の初め、
いよいよ後回しにしてきたブログを始めることに決めました!!
ウェブサイトを駆け回り、
＊サイトのカスタムが柔軟に可能な【WORDPRESS】さんで行く事に決定。
＊ドメインを取得して、ウエブサイトを開設、聞きなれない用語を何とか覚えながら、
＊ブログ登録、ブログの外観デザイン、カスタムをこなして、
ブログ内容を書いたメモ帳によれば、
当初、こんな感じで考えていました。
＊タイトル：『山火事で自宅、ガンプラ全焼』
＊内容：
＃全焼した自宅を再建する過程
＃亡くしたコレクションを買い戻す
＃無事、ガンプラ改造に復帰するまでの物語
5月7日に何とか無事『発信開始』にこぎつけました。

折り紙で色々なキャラや態度の猫を折って

*5月13日の結婚25周年に向け、お祝い（プレゼント、行事？）を考える
2000年の結婚から、四半世紀後の結婚記念日を祝うため、
妻と話し合ったり、サプライズプレゼントを用意したり、色々工夫しました。
こんな感じで、、、
1、自分たちの大好きなレストランへ週3回行ける特典
2、災害後のアート・セラピーセッションにカップルで通う
3、ベッドルーム用の『折り紙・ランプ』をフランス在住の日本人アーティストからEtsyを通じて購入、サプライズで妻に贈ります。
1、に関しましては、5/13日前後一週間の間に、実際に3回外食しました。
*妻の好きな、香港系中華レストランへ
*私の大好きな、台湾バフェ式のスパイシー鍋のお店へ
*友人の経営するアジア系無国籍料理店へ
2番目に関しては、妻も私も大変に気に入って、
今現在も「月一」で行き続けております。
このアート・セラピーセッションにつきましてはまた別に記事でご紹介したいです。
そして、
3番目のプレゼントに付きましたは、
4月のオーダー後、
2か月にわたるドラマが待ち受けておりました。驚

オーダーした美しい『折り紙ランプ』はこちらになります。
大、中、小の3サイズから『中』を選びました。

今の我々夫婦を象徴するような笑い話になりました！

＊遅れに遅れた瓦礫撤去作業、遂に開始
4月初めに一度、順番が回って来た瓦礫撤去作業ですが、
あいにく、自宅が妻両親との共同所有名義であったため、存命の妻の母からの実筆のサインが必要となり、色々てこずり時間がかかってしまい、はや5月になってしまいました。
既に自宅周辺の焼失した住宅（ブロック内は、ほぼ95％が全焼）は8割方瓦礫撤去が終わっており、もちろん競争ではないのですが、少し焦っておりました。

それでは、次回は少し趣向を変えまして、
自宅のデザイン過程を詳しく見て行きたいと思います。
クリエイティブな作業となり、振り返るのが楽しみで、

Episode 12: ‘Celebrating!! Blog Launch Success & 25th Wedding Anniversary’ New Developments
This 12th installment, titled ‘Beginning Design of the Rebuilt Home & The Thrilling Blog Launch Part:3’, will focus on the ‘chaotic’ events of April and May 2025.
We’ll proceed as follows.
This time covers the last three items:

It was April 2014—a date I’ll never forget—when I declared to my wife that I would launch a ‘miscellaneous’ blog to showcase my world of hobbies.
Over 11 years have already passed.
All this time, my wife nagged me about it almost every month.
Each time, I’d come up with excuses like:
＊I haven’t gathered enough material yet…
＊I just can’t quite make up my mind…
＊I’ll be able to write better stuff after I get older…
＊I’m a late bloomer…
Finally, after piling on one incomprehensible excuse after another,
and then… January 7, 2025 arrived.
As I’ve already written about what happened next,
after finalizing the contract with the architect and things settled down,
at the beginning of May,
I finally decided to start the blog I’d been putting off!!
I scoured websites,

The blog owner name is ‘Origami Cat’.
Posts are written in both Japanese and English for now.
Once things settle down,
I want to fold various cat characters and poses using origami
and share them on the blog.
Due to the recent fire,
I lost all my previous work as a designer and artist.
So, I wanted to leave some fragments of myself behind on this blog.
With encouragement from my wife and J-san, I started it.
Once I start writing,
words just flow out one after another
about things I love.
However, the articles about the period around the fire and the post-fire chaos,
which I feel I absolutely must write to overcome my trauma,
are extremely sensitive topics,

*Planning celebrations (gifts, events?) for our 25th wedding anniversary on May 13th
To celebrate our quarter-century wedding anniversary since marrying in 2000,
my wife and I discussed ideas, prepared surprise gifts, and came up with various plans.
Like this…
1. A perk allowing us to visit our favorite restaurant three times a week
2. Couple’s art therapy sessions post-disaster
3. Surprise gift for my wife: an ‘Origami Lamp’ for the bedroom, purchased via Etsy from a Japanese artist living in France.
Regarding #1, we actually dined out three times during the week around May 13th.
* To her favorite Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant
* To my favorite Taiwanese buffet-style spicy hotpot restaurant
* To an Asian fusion restaurant run by a friend
Regarding the second point, both my wife and I loved it so much,
we continue to go there “once a month” even now.
I’d like to introduce this art therapy session in a separate article.
And then,
regarding the third gift,
After ordering in April,
a two-month drama unfolded. Surprise!

＊Long-delayed debris removal finally begins
Our turn for debris removal came around once in early April,
but unfortunately, since our home was jointly owned with my wife’s parents, we needed a handwritten signature from her surviving mother. This caused various complications and delays, pushing things all the way into May.
By then, about 80% of the debris had already been cleared from the surrounding burned-out homes (nearly 95% of the block was completely destroyed). While it wasn’t a competition, I was starting to feel a bit anxious.

Next time, I’d like to change things up a bit and
