（こちらが建築構造士に提出する、ガレージとその2階の賃貸物件の最終案【平面図と立面図】となります。】
4月15日の午後五時半から、建築家SVさん、妻と私の3人で電話ミーティングを行い、建築構造士さんに『平面図と立面図』を渡す前に最終確認として、
以下の点に付き相談の上、追加・変更しました。
＃ADU（ガレージ2階の賃貸物件部分）が日中暗くなるのを避けるため、
＊天窓を2つ付ける（寝室部分の天井に1か所、ダイニング部分に1か所）
＊寝室の西側の南角にスリット窓を追加（1階のガレージの北側の窓同様に、雨戸のような開閉式の外側が木目のカバーをつける）
『間』の演出コンセプト：
SVさんから『ADUの北側の壁の【間】コンセプト』をもう一度解説していただき、初めて全体像を知った妻も大変に気に入り、このコンセプトを完成させるために、
＊一階の北側の窓と二階の寝室の西側の窓ｘ２に開閉式の「外壁と同じ木目が外側に出るカバー（シャッター）」を付けることになりました。
『間』のコンセプトとは？:
スティーブさんが日本の京都の町屋に一年間下宿された経験から生まれたコンセプト
ーーー＞近くに迫る大きな壁を障害物と捉えるのではなく、壁自身のカタチと素材を面白くデザイン＆チョイスすることで、その前に植えられた枝ぶりの優れた松や他の樹木の形を浮き上がらせ、後ろの遠景との間に浮かぶ「平面構成」のような効果を生むための「浮遊背景」として利用する考え方。ーーーーーー>そのため、北側の外壁は表面の木目以外何もないキャンバス状態が理想です。
＃次の目標：
構造士『A』さんからの返事を待つ間、
本宅部分とADU部分の外装や内装で使用したい、建材（窓、ドアー、床材、キッチンの細部等）や、電化製品（ボルト数など配線内容、IHレンジ、瞬間湯沸かしシステムなど）のリストを作ることになりました。
工務店選定前に出来るだけこちらからの詳細な希望をまとめることで、工務店同士の競り合いの折、正しい価格が算定できるために非常に有効だそうです。

（直近1年で、12-13％ものドル高・円安が進行）
私は、働いているLA ダウン・タウンの仕事場で、
＊日本製品の海外輸出モデルの中で、日本市場で受けそうな商品を、
＊日本へ再輸出するのに必要な
翻訳・通訳・発送などのお手伝いをしているのですが、
＊ここ2年ほどの円安ドル高基調の為替状況の上に、
＊昨年からのトランプ関税がのしかかり、
（ほとんどの取扱商品が中国生産ということもあり）
ダブルパンチを受けることになりました。
合計で、
20-30%の卸値の上昇が降りかかっています。
この状況に対処するため、
メーカ自身の日本への生産拠点の移行による、
＊生産コストの削減と
＊商品クオリティーの再担保に加えて、
私たち自身の
＊商品の絞り込みや、
＊薄利多売などの作戦で
何とかしのいで来たのですが、今年に入りいよいよ、
日本への逆輸出の需要は急降下を描いています。
ここ3－4年間、
日本支社と連携して、
こちらのイーベイやアマゾン、ウオルマートで販売できる、
日本からの輸入商品を探してきたのですが、
思ったように良い商品が見つからず、
ずるずるここまで来てしまったのが実情です。
今後なんとか日本支社との連携を立て直して、
お互い『ウインウイン』になれるような商材又は、商法を見つけるのが
急務となっています。
ピンチの時に機転を働かせ、努力を注ぐことにより、
ーーーーー＞チャンスを生み出すことが出来ると信じて、
一層励んでいきます。

LAカウンティーに提出する書類の中で、
もう一つ大切なものがありました。
『Title 24 Analysis』と言いまして、提出予定の設計内容をLA群の省エネ基準と照らし合わせて、精査していただき、電気配線などの専門家からの、お墨付きが必要となります。
【タイトル24分析】：
この分析は建築許可（パーミット）取得に必須であり、断熱材、窓、屋根、太陽光発電、HVAC（空調）システムなどが省エネ基準を満たしているかを専用ソフトウェアを用いて計算します。
建築家のSVさんから推薦していただいた2社の中から、
*融通が利きそうで、
*コストも明確で、安価な方
1社を選んで、そちらからの回答と分析内容を待ちます。
今後は、
いよいよ工務店選びの、入札課程に進んでいきますが、
何分にも高額出費、且つ未経験の分野のため、
暗中模索感でいっぱいです。泣
本ブログと記事内容につきまして：
ブログ記事を書くにあたり私の目標は、立体造形（料理も含めて）とのかかわりを通じて、私個人の特徴的（ネジ曲がり方も含めて）な評価軸を解明することで、「美しさ・美味しさ」に対する好奇心や、探求心を、どのように満足・充足させてきたのかを明記しておくことです。

話がそれますが、大好きな落語の世界に「三題噺」という、その場て会場から募った3つのお題を使って１つのお話に仕立てるといったお遊びがございますが、私はそれに近いことを立体造形の特徴や（料理のお味）をお題にして行っている感じがします。その中で頭の中に去来する数々の着想が、全く予想外で楽しく、次回からの記事内容を大幅に変えたり、新展開につながっています。

Episode 25: “Forming a Powerful Architect & Engineer Team! & Starting to Select Interior and Exterior Building Materials” – April–May Edition
In this 25th installment, titled “Forming a Powerful Architect & Engineer Team! & Starting to Select Interior and Exterior Building Materials” – The Fluctuating April–May Edition, I’d like to focus on the “early spring events” that took place in April and May 2026.

* Forming the Ultimate Team of Structural Engineer and Architect —> We’re in the final stages of preparing documents for submission to the LA County Office!

* As the design enters its final stages, we’re selecting interior and exterior building materials and compiling a list of desired appliances and electronics
* The structural engineer and architect have formed a golden team—> We’re in the final stages of preparing documents to submit to the LA County Office!
(These are the final plans [floor plans and elevations] for the garage and the rental unit on the second floor, to be submitted to the structural engineer.)
On April 15 at 5:30 PM, the three of us—architect SV, my wife, and I—held a conference call to finalize the plans before submitting the ‘floor plans and elevations’ to the structural engineer.
After discussing the following points, we made the following additions and changes:
# To prevent the ADU (the rental unit on the second floor of the garage) from becoming dark during the day,
* Install two skylights (one in the bedroom ceiling and one in the dining area)
